Inner Wild Sisterhood is dedicated to supporting Representation and Belonging. In fact, it’s one of our core values.
So what does this mean to us?
It means we’re actively implementing initiatives that support our diverse members, being compassionate allies, sharing the emotional labour that comes with dismantling systems of racial supremacy, and addressing diversity-based discrimination.
Too often, members of racialized and marginalized groups experience fatigue and a loss of a sense of belonging from having to fight so hard to be seen and heard, or having to hide their authentic selves and lived experiences. Our goal is to create a principled space for ALL those who self-identify as women to share their unique voices. A space where we comfortably, courageously and confidently practice radical relationality.
Inner Wild EQUITY Initiative
Inner Wild Sisterhood has launched an Equity Initiative to support women who are members of a racialized or marginalized group. This initiative is just one way that Inner Wild acknowledges the systemic barriers to access (i.e. social, economic, and institutional factors that prevent individuals from accessing resources, opportunities, and services that are essential for their well-being and success) due to historical and ongoing discrimination, marginalization, and oppression.
We acknowledge that these systemic barriers are rooted in societal structures and institutions that perpetuate inequality and discrimination, making it more difficult for members of historically marginalized groups to access opportunities and resources, and that it is ALL of our responsibilities to dismantle these systems.
Membership Discount
If you are someone who is part of a racialized or marginalized group, we offer a discount of 50% on the membership fees for the first 3-month of commitment. We’re also happy to discuss your particular financial needs on a case-by-case basis. Please don’t hesitate to reach out!
