  • By being in touch with women who are actively doing their inner work. I learn to be present and connected with deeper values and needs. I'm unlocking my own feminine, feeling, receptive side. Women’s group provides me with safety to trust women, let go of my urge to compare myself to others and open my heart after being guarded for most of my life. This is a space where I am retraining my body and psyche to be more open and accepting and now I feel courage to bring more compassion, safety, openness to my friendships, workspace, and family.

  • Participating in women’s group each week is like going to a self-awareness gym - I stretch, challenge and grow my ability to see who I am, have compassion, investigate my reactions, let go of what isn’t mine. Doing so has enhanced my relationships - including with myself - and given me the experience of authentic, vulnerable connection, something I now recognize and cultivate outside of “gym”.

    — J. W. (Vancouver, BC)

  • Before joining Inner Wild, I found it very difficult to connect with other women despite feeling lonely and longing for deeper friendships. In just a few months I feel like I know my own needs more clearly, and I’m trusting myself to build authentic connections with other amazing women. The support from my group is helping me explore myself more deeply. Being part of a sisterhood is teaching me to take up space, speak up for myself and understand the importance of my own needs. Inner Wild is the sisterhood I didn’t know was missing in my life, and I believe this is sorely needed for all women to feel supported on their own growth journey.

  • The group for me is a source of endless inspiration and opportunity to connect with amazing women, but most of all I value the group for the unconditional , ultimate acceptance we offer each other. No matter what you are going through or where your mind's at, in the group you are always supported and celebrated.

    — K. Z. (Vancouver, BC)

  • I heard about “improving communication” and read about the importance of “being vulnerable,” but it wasn’t until participating in women’s group that I had a space to actually practice showing up authentically, asking for what I need, building genuine reciprocal connections, and tuning into my body to discover my own truth. Absolutely love this work!

  • Group helped me begin the journey of seeing myself as a very different person than I had considered myself to be all my life. I began uncovering possibilities about who I was, how others saw me, and what kind of role I’ve been playing in all of my relationships - romantic, familial and friendships. What if the truth didn’t actually resemble stories such as, “nobody understands me, I’m different than most women/girls, people won’t like me once they know me, I’m too much for most people to handle”? What if instead, people have actually been curious/intimidated/uncertain or felt rejected themselves by the attitude and beliefs I was outputting? Something fascinating happens once you are given genuine permission to drop things like sugarcoating and people-pleasing.

  • The circle has given me a sense of community, meaningful relationships and conversations and while being part of my support system, also has challenged me to question my beliefs and choices and ultimately, grow into my more authentic self.

    — S. T. (Vancouver, BC)

  • I've developed some of the most connecting friendships in my entire life with the women in group. And that's because they've seen the very real "me".
